Figure Drawing From a Live Model

Trying to better my skills at Figure Drawing, or as some may call it Life Drawing.  I am enrolled in an 8 week class at the Art League of Houston.  Each week we have a live male or female nude model.  The picture below is of a young woman.  I hope and believe (otherwise I wouldn't post it) that this work of art is not offensive to anyone.  If it is, please email me and I will remove this post.  

This drawing/sketch was a 15 minute pose done in charcoal and conte pencil.  

This is not for sale.  Just a recording on my blog to show progression.

2018 Texas Artist of the Year

Francescas Fuchs works in acrylics on canvas board.  Fuchs says, "I work the old-fashioned way. I make little paintings, like 10 by 13 inches, and then make cartoon drawings from them. I change the drawing till I'm happy with it, make stencils and trace them onto the large canvas or the wall, then paint it."

Fuchs is an instructor at the Glassell School of Art in Houston.
