     This is the first in my series on women.  Figurative women. Women who have something to say, some emotion that they are showing.  I am not sure how many women I will paint.  I have this voice in my heart that is telling me to do these paintings.  It speaks to me every day, all day!  I will give in to that voice.

     So here I start with "Waiting".  Why?  Because all females have experienced the "Waiting".  Waiting for a husband or boyfriend to finally put down his cell phone.  Or "Waiting" for a lover to ring the doorbell.  Or maybe she just "Waiting" for her Uber ride to bring her to the ballet.               

     It's whatever you want, whatever you see when you look at her.  For all those times you too have stood, dressed in your best,    "Waiting".
